Black Slim Wide Leg Jean

All about what I wore on our maiden visit to Calder Gardens.

I initially bought this very style of denim in a blue color way with rhinestone embellishments. It is a roomier style, wide legged, in a fabric that is forgiving. I mean that it feels nearly like a pair of stretch pants in the athleisure sense.

I appreciate that over the course of five thousand steps (Calder Gardens, the Barnes, lunch nearby, and post office drop off) the denim did not stretch out and become baggy.

I am wearing these jeans in a size 33 tall. I likely could get away with a 32 tall. Shoulda, coulda, woulda. I will say that the length is not a true full length tall, hence why I styled them rolled up (twice, FYI) at the bottom. Eventually, I will end up running them through the dryer in order to shrink down the fabric. At that point, if they are not short enough to wear as cropped, I will consider having them hemmed up. That day is not today though.

Sometimes I just want to wear something that is cozy, yet not clingy. A lot of my sweaters and knits are feeling clingy on my midsection these days. That is an issue between the size of my body and the size of clothes in my closet. We – my clothes and I, that is – will eventually move past it.

I am wearing this sweater in a size large tall. Can I get a slow clap for a sweater that is available in the tall size range?
