Floral denim for spring…etc etc etc.
the gap high rise floral barrel jeans
Wearing a pair of barrel jeans was not on my 2026 bingo card, alas here we are.
I would not have bought these in any other hue or print save for possibly shades of black. That is to say that the floral print sold me on trying barrel cut denim. I know, I know, florals for spring, totally revolutionary. Nevertheless, I look forward to wearing these in the spring with a pair of floral print espadrille sandals.
I am especially enjoying wearing pants that are roomier through the legs, specifically the calves. This style is ideal for that sort of fit. Perhaps a pair of black barrel jeans is in my future.
I am wearing the Gap High Rise Floral Barrel Jeans in a size 33 tall.
the gap 100% cotton oversized mockneck sweater
Lately I just want to wear oversized sweaters in natural fibers. Alas finding a cotton (or wool or cashmere) sweater in that shape in a tall size range is ever-so-difficult. When I discovered this sweater, I nearly bought it in more than the pink color way, despite the fact that I am not a huge fan (or even a fan at all) of the mockneck. Either make a funnel neck or commit to a turtleneck.
But I am not in the position to be picky, as nearly nothing is seemingly ticking the fiber and the size range boxes. I will say that thanks to the cotton and a non constricting neckline, it is plenty comfortable. I washed it in cold water and laid it across a drying rack to dry.
I am wearing this sweater in a size large tall.
