I Bought It / I Love It

Recent picks from the last few weeks were driven by President’s Day sales.

what I bought and kept

I have been stalking the Lele Sadoughi x The Met collaboration since discovering the first collection last spring. Since then, a second collection was released, featuring Mondrian, Klee, Kandinsky, Griis, and Toulouse.

This collection was largely excluded from sales of the past six months. Ergo, I was thrilled when markdowns hit the second collaboration between the accessories designer and art museum.

Can you guess which headband I picked?

(Toulouse, always Toulouse!)

I lived in my A. Emery Pae sandals last summer. Any time an outfit called for a minimal black footwear option, I found myself reaching for this pair. So much so that I knew I needed to find a comparable option to throw into the mix for this spring / summer.

I bought last year’s pair through a Moda Operandi sale for less than one hundred dollars. This year, I bought the sandals on a similar sale although not as good of a price. I see you, inflation.

These sandals give quiet luxury, Carolyn Bessette, albeit for the summer.

Every time I visit Rescue Spa or Glowbar or Metro Laser, a vitamin C face product is recommended, whether than be a serum or an oil.

I understand that this product is to be applied prior to makeup. I selected serum in order to best wear beneath CC cream.

So far, so good.

I initially ordered this dress during Q4 of 2025. I was taken that it was cashmere and offered in a tall size range. At the time, I did not love the way it fit me. Too short, even as a tall, and too clingy. As such, I returned the dress.

However, it was marked down with an additional percentage off. Between a lower price point and having shed a few pounds, I was ready to order the dress once again and I am so glad I did.

I ordered the dress in a size extra large tall.
