About a year ago, I lamented about two black pairs of point shoe-esque flats of decidedly contrasting price points. It was then that I became obsessed with a pair of watercolor floral printed ballet flats from the higher end designer, of which I am still obsessed. (Spoiler alert: I purchased these after I started the blog post and before it went live.) I happened to spot an alternate colorway, blush pink leather detailed with studs on The Outnet. Along with an app discount code, I was able to reason buying that pair.
Since last year said designer has gone extreme in his interpretation of the balletcore trend. Add high heels, platforms, ribbons, elastic, leg warmers, and in one case, a knee height shaft into the mix, and there are some extreme styles emerging from last year’s selection of flats.
How’s that for evolution?
