As long as they will allow me, I will dress my sons in matching outfits. And not only with each other, but also, coordinating with myself and with my husband, if not outright matching.
Just in time for (side eye), Mother’s Day, Lilly Pulitzer and Janie & Jack teamed up to produce Mama (and Dada) and me clothes for everyone in the family, including boys. Lilly Pulitzer has always produced girls, from baby to preteen, clothing. At the beginning of 2025, Lilly Pulitzer re-launched the Men’s Stuff line, and I have absolutely partaken on behalf of my husband.
Lilly Pulitzer has offered boys’ styles sporadically; whenever a boy style pops up, especially during a sale, I scoop it up. However, Petit Garcon has not had a Lilly closet addition in nearly two years.
That ends now, as the new collaboration between the resort brand and childrenswear brand offers even boys clothes. While I will not be purchasing anything from the collection for myself, as nothing really does it for me and my closet is bursting at the seams, or my husband who does not really need anything new, I will be buying for the boys. They grow like weeds, so why not outfit them in the best rollout of boys summer clothing?
