This is the (checks notes) fourth colorway that I bought in this dress style.
I wore this on the most humid day of the entire summer.

Everything about this dress is timeless. I bought it in three cotton poplin iterations (one with a paracord detail, because I can always swap out that detail in lieu for an, idk, really thick grosgrain ribbon…?) and this linen version. I was nervous about the pale pink linen hue being potentially see through; however being linen, this dress is reserved for hot summer days and as such, I think sheer linen is warranted.
The pain point of this dress is that it is missing pockets. While it allows for a more streamlined silhouette, I cannot just keep my phone, keys, etc. on my person at any given moment.
I just love dresses with pockets.
But this one does not have pockets.
I am wearing this dress in a size 16 tall. While I am going through a chubby phase, I know that eventually I will move on from it. Or have it altered.
