The Banana Republic Colorblocked Cotton Poplin Midi Dress reminds me of this dress from the same retailer from last summer. And hoo-boy! Did I wear that dress over and over last summer, so much that I ordered that dress in the Shibori-esque color way. As soon as I saw this dress though, I was on the lookout for a promotional price. Alas, it went on sale nearly immediately after hitting the online store.

Aside from the pockets, my favorite parts of this 2026 dress is how versatile it is, as far as sizing goes. There are three webbed utility straps and three sets of D-rings, allowing for a customized size on each size and across the back. I wore this for the first time earlier this year while I was a touch chubbier. Thanks to the utility straps and the D rings, it is still as swell fit. I am wearing this dress in a size medium tall; yes this dress runs large.
