We are on day twelve of our post coast quarantine. It has not been so bad. I keep busy with work, which is only made easier with the office set up that my husband put together while the Pamper Pirate and I were on the coast. Three monitors is ideal for that wild, wild, world of construction estimating. Even when I am neck deep in spreadsheets and video calls, I never feel overwhelmed by not being able to find the file for which I am searching.
Getting dressed for the day as though I am reporting to the office, albeit on a casual Friday, is helpful. This is what I wore yesterday.
the equipment shirt
This shirt is cut so perfectly, it does not need to come in tall sizing. Equipment clothing is underrated. While I once purchased a dress which was too short for me, the Equipment shirts in particular are phenomenal for those who are statuesque. They are long enough in the body and in the sleeves. Rather than taking the short cut with a polyester, Equipment makes their shirts in silk. Or at least all four of my Equipment shirts are made of silk. This is an excellent shirt for those who are tall.
I previously wore the Equipment Slim Signature Silk Shirt in this blog post and the Equipment Essential Silk Shirt in this blog post, both paired with skirts. Today, I wore it with my go-to pair of quarantine denim (exact pair last seen here).

the shoes
I wore my Sarah Flint Natalie flats around the apartment all last week in efforts to break them in. Don’t believe me? Consider them broken; the leather molded to my feet over the course of four afternoons. Before I was hesitant to wear them out and about but now I cannot wait. Once we all get our safe vaccines and decide that telecommuting is not for us (oh, just me?) and once again have to put on shoes (twist my arm), Sarah Flint is going to make that transition easier.
