PCQ Diaries Day 6: Mix

Lately my closet has steadily gained a Ralph Lauren section, particularly made of the Polo and Double RL lines. Collection is just too expensive for my budget (though I love it) and Lauren is not just not wacky enough for my tastes.

Although Ralph Lauren does not offer tall sizing (and only offers petite and plus in the Lauren line), I have found that the shirts, sweaters, and dresses still fit my 6’-2” frame. This is major.

In the last month I posted two Ralph Lauren shopping roundups, one featuring full price and one featuring markdowns. Both the dress and the sweater came from the markdown post. Although I did not purchase them with the intent to wear them together, I love the pattern power clash and that the sweater allows me to wear the airy dress later into the season.

The dress is even more beautiful in person. The detail with with it was constructed is truly next level. It is fully lined. I love that you can wear the sleeves on the shoulders or off. The bodice ruching with the knot front is my favorite part; it is so flattering.

The flats are Sarah Flint and this was my second day wearing them. I was dreading what I though would be inevitable blisters, but they are deceivingly easy to break in. I have a code to share with the Lucindervention community: use code SARAHFLINT-CCLUCINDA1 to save 60 dollars on any purchase $230 and up.
