Sequins for Everyday

Three weekends ago, we set up the Christmas tree. Though it is below freezing outside, indoors it is sweltering. I had to shed the jeans and turtleneck sweater mid-berry stem application for something that would not make me sweat. Enter this dress.

In our household, every day is a special occassion. Every evening after the Pamper Pirate’s bedtime, as we are preparing our dinner, my husband and I reflect upon each day and pinpoint our favorite moment. More often than not, the moment is Pamper Pirate-centric. A being of pure magic.

In the words of Jenna Lyons, sequins should not be reserved for “special occassions.” Even in the time of (hopefully) conclusion of quarantine, if you are having a difficult celebrating the mundane, sport sequins. This sequin dress is on sale and as of this moment, is an extra sixty percent off the markdown price. It is available not only in the champagne shade, but also black. Most importantly this sequin dress is offered in a tall size range, standard sizes too. I am wearing a size tall large.

Jennifer Behr headbands are great because not only are they the show stoppers, truly icing on the cake of any outfit, but they never leave me with headaches. I have been wearing headbands since elementary school with a brief hiatus throughout high school, and I used to live with the associated headaches. Guess what? I do not have to deal with this anymore. It is truly revolutionary.

I have a soft spot for this one in particular as it was one of the first headbands Blair wore on Gossip Girl, on the first season holiday episode. XOXO.
