Running on the treadmill at the gym is the ultimate respite from being at the flat all week. Especially when it is freezing outside, I do not like to venture out with the Pamper Pirate. Taking a trek through the park on the sled and accompanied by my husband is one thing. Blazing a trail through a blizzard, one-on-one is quite another.
Until we get the spring thaw, I will be covering my mileage on the machine.
Full candor: though my social group kicked off the plank challenge in March 1st, I started prepping for it back in February. Especially being over six feet tall with a mom tummy, I knew I was starting at negative zero strength. This has allowed me to ease into the plank challenge with a lot less pressure to hit the daily goals. In addition to the daily goal, I try to do a set of three planks each exceeding the daily goal by about thirty seconds.
Let’s meet back here next week, same time same place, for a check in?
