Excitement does not begin to express my emotions when I found out that HBO Max was going to serve up a Gossip Girl reboot. The classic serial and its contemporary offshoot is a frequent reference across the blog. I am serious when I say that I simply will not shut up about headbands, specifically those of the Jennifer Behr variety.
I digress.
Unfortunately, we cannot access HBO Max in Kazakhstan. Armed Forces Network, the government television broadcast service the U.S. military provides to those assigned overseas, did start running the show. It did not air until six in the morning on Sunday mornings, which I probably could have swung but I was not aware until mid-season. Rather than try to piece together the plot from the episodes I missed, I just opted not watch it. Alas, I have been dodging Gossip Girl reboot (as well as And Just Like That…) spoilers for over eight months.
This ends when we return to the states for a vacation. I am one hundred percent going to pack the Apple TV, HDMI cable, and remote to catch up on both Gossip Girl and And Just Like That…
