Tall Tuesday: Banana Republic

It is time for the semi-annual rave for the tall size range at Banana Republic. I have said it before and I will say it again: Within the past year Banana Republic has stepped up their selection. It reminds me of halcyon days of Banana Republic, when the brand was known for accessible luxury rather than premium mediocre.

Gone are the polyester fabrics, here are suede and linen. Here are styles at the cross section of safari-chic and Pretty Woman normcore. The former is best illustrated by the white linen jumpsuit and the latter by a linen vest / pleated Bermuda short combo.

Banana Republic is on a roll. When so much good stuff is available in tall, previously a pipe dream, I just want to fill my closet with the brand. And right this second, I have my eye on the blue suede trench dress.
