Vacation is relative because I spent a few mornings at the office.
the Brogger dress
I bought this dress after eyeing it for my neon post last summer. Though it did not make the cut as it was constantly out of stock, I purchased it via ShopBop when I found it on markdown in a large. I could have easily gone down a size thanks to the volume of the dress but it is not so big that it warranted a return.
Brogger, for those who don’t know, is a label out of London. It is named for Danish designer Julie Brogger. The designs are exemplified by volume, color, and print. ShopBop is a stockist of the brand, thus making it accessible to those stateside.
I have to share that the combination of this dress and headband elicited responses. The staff at the dentist office was most impressed with the daring color story. On the other end of the spectrum, it made the jaw of a particularly square looking (assumed) cisgender white man drop as I swept through the lobby of our hotel as I left for the office that morning.
But at the office? Nobody batted an eye.
