It has been a two weeks since my last check in. Mind you, I was traveling literally across the world with a toddler in tow. Within the past two weeks, I purchased three items:
- Before we left, I ordered a Vince striped cashmere turtleneck on deep markdown via Shopbop.
- Matches Fashion had a private sale this week. I took the opportunity to purchase another Bea Bongiasca set. I just love my bright pink set so much, I wanted a pastel version for more muted outfits.
- I bought another caftan from La Vie Style House. The summer roll out is so good. Rather than a lace one, I purchased one of the sequin numbers and used the welcome code.
Apparently Shopbop oversold the Staud Wells Dress in peony that I purchased the week of 112/365. As such, my purchase was cancelled and I was credited back. The La Vie Style House lace caftan I purchased from Matches Fashion arrived yesterday and it is everything, hence this week’s purchase.
But now, no more shopping. Shopping fatwah back on!
As for our section of the embassy mailroom, I imagine it was not as horrible as I thought. A big box of diapers and a big box of paper towels, and a minimal pile of small parcels arrived while we were out.
