Year of Less (218/365)

I fell down the online shopping hole again. Last week was the Lake Pajamas sale and I ordered a pair from the Schumacher collaboration both for the Pamper Pirate and myself. My birthday is about to roll around and as such, Matchesfashion gave me a $150 gift card. Naturally, I bought a La Vie Style House caftan, this one in a juicy orange hue. I have wanted the caftan in that color for awhile and had it in my head that I wanted to go toe to shoulder in juicy orange, and as such have been stalking these sandals for a markdown. I have them in metallic already and trust that they have been getting airtime, both on the blog and IRL.

Lastly, as a celebration of my birthday week, I made a big buy. I bought the large Louis Vuitton Damier canvas day planner, punctuated with my initials hot stamped in gold to match the hardware.

This week I received one of my J.Crew orders: pink smocked dress, socks for husband, shorts and pants for the Pamper Pirate. A Lands’ End order came in; this one had the correct size in the chambray shirt for my husband, another set of scrunchies, and a pajama set. They are all winners.

Lastly, my Hill House Home Lily dress arrived. This entire time I have been a Nap Dress resister, in part because I have not taken a nap since the arrival of the Pamper Pirate. How rude to name a dress after a luxury I no longer get, right? However, I just loved one of the new prints and reconsidered making a purchase from the brand. It just so happens that the print was made available in a cute little shirt dress. When I say little, I mean short. It is a minidress. To be delved into on the blog later.
