La Vie Style House Caftan VI

The sixth – and last – caftan in my La Vie Style House lineup is on sale and shocker, still in stock.

the no. 0131 cobalt star lace caftan

I bought the cobalt star lace caftan during the big La Vie Style House summer sale, along with the green and pink stunner. While it was part of the rollout prior to the Fourth of July, I knew I did not want to buy such a seasonal item for full price.

However, the bright blue caftan (less of a cobalt, more of a royal blue, TBH) can be styled in a way that includes a hue outside of a patriotic color story. In fact, it should be styled in a less expected way. I have big plans to pair it with my seafoam green embellished J.Crew block heels.

As always, the one size fits all aspect of the boutique caftan line amazes me. I own six La Vie Style House caftans and the fit is amazing, and amazingly consistent! Not naming any names but not many brands can make that claim. 👀 They know who they are.

the Loveshackfancy pink slip

I want to talk about the slip I wore beneath the caftan. This is the second time layering the pink slip that came with the Loveshackfancy Oakley dress under a La Vie Style House caftan. (Reference the green and pink sequin caftan on the blog last week, note the pink base layer.)

There is something to be said for collecting slips in hues other than white, black, and nude. I would also expand that statement to include different lengths of slips from mini to midi. When a removable slip arrives with a dress, in a color not already in the closet, it truly feels like a value add.
