Training for 13.1 (10)

Perhaps it was the relief from the stress of our first phase of the transcontinental move that allowed my body to finally put its defenses down, but I got sick for the second time in nearly a month’s time. As such, I took a week and a half long break from running and working out in general. I missed five training runs in total, two of which were long runs.

The last time I recovered from being sick, I added one of the runs I missed as a fourth recovery training run a week until I caught up in three weeks time. However, because I am ramping up mileage at this stage, I will be starting where I left off and running more frequently until I catch up. The potential exception will be the weekends when I run both days and only if I am feeling it.
