A very structured office dress with a bag designed to transport champers, genius!
the j.crew resume dress
Does anyone else recall the time when J.Crew killed the workwear game? I’m talking lightweight wool in many hues. I’m talking the Origami Dress and the Emmaleigh Dress. I had both in at least three colors each. My collection always served a no-fail answer to the age-old question, “What to wear today?”
While most of the workwear produced by J.Crew is of the synthetic blend assortment, shoppers still have access to the Resume Dress in both lightweight wool and linen. I bought both the navy and the black for a series of interviews from back when I was in my first trimester.
I am wearing this dress in a twelve tall and it accommodated me up to three months pregnant.
the louis vuitton noé bag
Did you know that the Louis Vuitton Noé was designed circa 1832 to accommodate the transportation of five bottles of champagne? Four set upright and the fifth flipped upside down, contained in the middle.
I love the Noé as an alternate to the Neverfull, which is just too effing ubiquitous. It is a great mom bag; in lieu of five bottles of bubbly, it also fits all of my essentials as well as items for my son.
