It has been a second since I wore this dress. The last time I wore this dress, the hemline felt more conservative as I did was not carrying as much weight thus causing the dress to ride higher. Despite the shorter hemline, I wear the dress for the neckline. In fact, the standup collar sold me on the dress, even if the brand, Sail to Sable, calls it a cowl neck. I also love the gold buttons down the back even if it makes sitting down and leaning back a bit uncomfortable.

I have six pairs of Sarah Flint Natalie flats. I love Sarah Flint and I love the Natalie flats. My only compliant would be that my little toes are a touch constricted. Nevertheless, the Natalie flats are more comfortable that most shoes. Sarah Flint, the designer, must be psychic because she delivered a hybrid between the Natalie and the Ballerina flat.

While I like the shape of the Ballerina flat, I am not a fan of the covered button detail at the toe. I like the cap toe portion! I am just a totally picky beyotch who is especially discerning about what I put on my body and how I spend my money. When I saw the Ballerina Natalie, I knew that shape was it. I consequently waited for it to be produced in a cannot miss textile and when the Gracie collaboration was released, holy moly. I simply had to have a pair!
