This J.Crew dress was one of the first pieces I ordered when we entered lockdown during the pandemic. It was available in tall and I could not pass that up!
It features white fringe detailing at the bottom skirt hem and doubled up around the bottom of the sleeves. There is a self belt sash, though I try to go for a more streamlined look without. Luckily, the dress does not include belt loops.
I am wearing this dress in a size ten tall and I find that it runs larger.
the multistrand necklace
Want to talk about a blast from the past? I purchased this necklace during the summer of 2005, nearly two decades ago, from an upscale local boutique.
Back then, I was drawn to the shades of green and teal just as much as I am today. Said hues scream warm weather and consequently, this necklace is reserved for days when the temperature tops seventy degrees. And, yes, I even wore this necklace to the pool.
I like wearing it with white, with black, with coordinating colors, or with contrasting colors like I did with this outfit.
