Blue and white is such a refreshing combination, and this dress is the sartorial version of a glass of ice water.
the loveshackfancy antonella dress
How was it that I ordered this dress three years ago? How has it been so long?
I was drawn to this Loveshackfancy dress as it does not scream “I’m a Loveshackfancy dress!” The eyelet does give the clue, but the indigo dye is iconoclastic for the brand that takes many a cue from cottagecore and Laura Ashley floral prints.
I have come to be mildly annoyed by tie shoulder sleeves in general, not just on the Loveshackfancy Antonella Dress. My husband had to tie these on me while I was in the dress. I would otherwise struggle to get the sleeves of this dress tied solo and can you imagine trying to do so in a hurry?
But as long as my husband can assist with this dress, I will wear it for another three (plus) years.
I am wearing this dress in a size fourteen, which is to say that this dress runs small.
the j.crew x nails by mei ring
I jump at any chance to wear one of my J.Crew x Nails by Mei rings. They are akin to a ring version of a statement necklace, but I would not quite call them cocktail rings.
Being as chunky and large as the rings from this collaboration are, this ring requires a larger size to comfortably fit on my fingers. I ended up having to return and size up on this ring.
