Remixing the Tory Burch embellished tunic with chino shorts, inspired!
the j.crew five inch inseam chino shorts
It was not until I was thirty-five when I got into longer inseam shorts. I do not understand why or how I defered to those of the three inch variety in my twenties, other than the fact that maybe they came in more prints and colorways. 2012 ikat shorts, could not resist, you know?
Since graduating to the more modest length, I collected the style in peachy-orange, lavender, and blue.
Probably need more.
the tory burch embellished tunic
I initially spied this tunic during the first few weeks of the pandemic. Tory Burch released the most fantastic collection of both caftans and tunics which I think flew under the radar due to the collective panic resulting from COVID-19. Not I, though.
I did not buy said tunic that spring. I did, however, experience passer’s remorse. This tunic lived rent-feee in my mind for three years before it inexplicably became available in my size. And on sale! Never mind that it was so three years ago, as easily identified by the distinctive engineered print. I never hit Place Order so quickly.
I am wearing the tunic in a size extra large. Unlike the typical Tory Burch tunic proportions, this style runs longer. It was styled as a swimsuit coverup but as I am taller than the average gal, with shorts is the only way to go.
At least until our number is up for membership for the Lombard Swim Club.
After the outfit photos and credits, more Tory Burch tunics available on the market at right this moment!
