My Tie Dyed Polo Shirt

Hippie style meets preppy style in this neon tie dye Polo Ralph Lauren polo shirt.

In a remarkable demonstration of foresight, I got into tie dye a solid year prior to the emergence of COVID-19. I initially bought a spiral tie dyed cotton cable knit sweater from Polo Ralph Lauren. However I returned it as the length was too short for anyone standing taller that six foot. I just say no to exposing my midriff.

I was bummed out about the tie dye cable knit not working out, but that feeling subsided just as soon as I discovered the Polo Ralph Lauren tie dye polo shirt. The length is not as ample as I would like and tends to ride up more as my body is holding onto pregnancy weight. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am wearing this polo shirt in a size extra large.

It was not until I was halfway into my thirties until I got into longer, five inch inseam shorts. I previously wore those of the four inch inseam variety. Before that, I genuinely wonder what I was thinking defaulting to the three inch inseam.

Since graduating to the more modest length, I collected the style in at least three shades that I readily recall: peachy-orange, lavender, and blue.

I am wearing the J.Crew Five Inch Inseam Chino Short in a size fourteen.
