I have no idea what came over me, but I went against my no synthetic fiber ever rule and bought one of both of these taffeta skirts. They both come in tall and in colors that I am into, the black and the green. These are the details on each:
price: The lower end version is regularly priced at $39.99. // The less economical version is regularly priced at $120.
colors: The lower end version is available in basic black and holiday red. // The less economical version is available in navy blue, purple, emerald green, ochre brown, and black.
size availability: Both are available in extended size ranges. Tall, in the case of the lower end version, and long, in the case of the less economical version. Note that the lower end version is sold out in tall in both colors; both are still available in regular and petite. Whomp, whomp. The less economical version is nearly entirely stocked in all colors in all size lengths.
fabric content: The lower end version is one hundo p polyester. // The less economical version is a fairly even mix of polyester and cotton.
design details: Both skirts have an elastic waistband across the back and on seam pockets. The less economical version has pockets that are tacked closed. I anticipate keeping them closed.
