Two Pearl/Gold Link Earrings

I have been looking for a pair of earrings like this for awhile. Calling back to the 80s and 90s, I love the chunky gold chain circling a big fat pearl. The earrings remind me of a vintage Chanel, UES-residing woman who might have a vanity job at a publishing house circa 1989.

dimensions: The lesser expensive earrings are 1-1/8” diameter, while the more expensive earrings are slightly larger at 1-1/2” diameter.

material content: The expensive option is 18K gold plated brass and crystal pearls. The less expensive option is gold-plated recycled brass and glass pearls.

design details: The biggest detail is the density of the golden brass. There are ten gold links on each of the earrings in the economical set. The more expensive set features a much denser braid.

provenance: The more affordable option is imported. The pricier version is made in New York.

price: Because both pearls are faux and that is a distinct part of the look, it is tougher to distinguish which is more expensive. At thirty dollars on the low end and nearly three hundred dollars on the high end (but marked down here), the delta is quite significant.

Chime in the comment with WYG. As for me, I tried the more expensive version after they went on sale for half the price. I sent them back after trying them on and being shocked by the weight of each of the earrings. They were so uncomfortable, I would not have been able to make it through a morning wearing them.
