This convertible shirtdress is going to be a summer work staple, I just know it.

I attempted to order the flat version of these shoes years ago, when I lived in Central Asia. Unfortunately, I got the size wrong and dejected, did not make an attempt in getting my size right. When I saw that the Hangisi heels were available with a 50 mm heel, I jumped at the opportunity when I noted that they were available in my larger-than-standard size. Ironically, the brand’s website does not even offer them in the low, 50 mm heel.
Like the flat version, these shoes are shockingly comfortable. I wore them for two days in a row and even ran some lunch time errands in Center City while wearing them. I was so paranoid of accidentally stepping in water or ruining them in an otherwise way; however I dodged many a sidewalk obstacle and preserved the perfection.
I am wearing the Manolo Blahnik Hangisi Heels in a size twelve.
the banana republic shirting dress
I had to have this dress when I saw it styled the asymmetrical way. I love styles that can be worn more than one way and this dress knows how it is done.
The product information calls this color way navy/white stripe but I see more of a black and white stripe.
If between sizes, I suggest erring on the size smaller if you want to wear it the standard way, larger if you want to wear it asymmetrically, as that causes the dress to pull in more narrow. I am wearing the Banana Republic Asymmetrical Cotton Shirtdress in a size large tall.
