I am celebrating eight years of blogging with throwing it back to past blog posts. Join me on this walk down memory lane.
While my graphic tee preference undoubtedly goes to genuine vintage, few brand-new vintage-inspired graphic tees will inevitably catch my interest. After Christmas and before New Years, I spied this particular one at a boutique in Center City. A few weeks ago, I was discussing shopping with my grandma and she mentioned that if she remains obsessed with an item (likely a gardening gadget, knowing that sweet lady) for a week after first spying it, she will buy it. I take after my grandma in that way because by the time 2017 rolled around, that graphic tee found a home in my dresser, just waiting for summer!

No doubt that I get outfit inspiration from past decades. I hope you all get a good laugh at what I got this outfit inspiration from:
Yes, it is Victor from Wet Hot American freakin’ Summer. I just re-watched the First Day of Camp edition two Fridays ago, in anticipation of the new series this August. (Sidebar: the original movie is no longer on Netflix. Pour one out.) Once you stop laughing, please do chime in on who wore the muscle tee and cut-off denim look the best.
I traded in the sweatbands for stacked bracelets and the Birkenstocks for metallic gold sandals and added a pair of bomb sunglasses. The line between cult movie character and myself is definitely defined by the accessories, y’all.
