I fell in love with the electric pink hue offered in a plethora of styles by Beyond Yoga. While, I used to have a pair of yoga leggings from the Beyond Yoga x Kate Spade collaboration, as documented here, I later found that I did not frequently enough reach for the pair and as a result, eBayed the pair. The circle of life, you know? A reminder: I had to go up a size, from a medium to a large, when I purchased them five years ago. I also had gripes about the low rise and size of the waist in relation to the legs.
Let’s talk about the present day Beyond Yoga Spacedye Caught in the Midi High Waisted Legging.
the Beyond Yoga Spacedye Caught in the Midi High Waisted Legging sizing
While I know in my heart of hearts that I am larger than I was when I returned a size medium for a large back in 2016, I still purchased a size large. They were barely out of the shipping bag before I was shocked at how tiny they looked. I could barely shimmy the pair up my thighs when I admitted defeat.
The return process was super easy. I had a size xxl (not great for my self esteem btw) on the way that evening. The next day, the size large in my possession was on the way back to the states.
the Beyond Yoga Spacedye Caught in the Midi High Waisted Legging fabric
The spacedye fabric was the same as that of the Kate Spade collaboration leggings. Very soft, but almost had me for cotton. Though I like the fabric, it did not do me any favors in terms of hiding my cellulite. I had to wear a very oversized sweatshirt to hide my bottom in the leggings
I wore the leggings for yoga so once I was in the studio, I shed the big sweatshirt. There was also only three people, including myself, in the class.
