Another day, another Loveshackfancy dress. This time it is the Loveshackfancy Story Dress. But first…
the Baublebar jewelry
Upon putting together a recent This Weekend in Sales post, I noticed that Baublebar carries fine jewelry. I was never particularly a fan of the jewelry brand but when I saw the product selection of minimalist diamond jewelry, my perspective changed. Additionally, I saw that Baublebar carries Maya Brenner initial necklaces. I made two purchases: the Maya Brenner initial necklace upon which I applied the ten percent off introductory code and the two diamond bracelets upon which I applied the twenty percent off code STACKING20.
the Loveshackfancy dress
I clicked on the Loveshackfancy Story dress because it deviates from the brand. By that I mean, it does not bear the cottagecore floral hallmarks of the typical Loveshackfancy dress. Rather, the fabric is a classic, clean, cotton blue and white stripe. It reminded me of bright awnings adorning storefronts or even beach umbrellas.
The details of the Story dress are beyond. A faux corset style composes the bodice. The dress has a full skirt, made of tiers alternating stripe directions. Full lining negates the need for a slip. The lining prevents “overshare” via the gaps between each tier of the skirted bottom which is thickly threaded together.
Size-wise, I found the Story dress to fit small on the top. As opposed to the Loveshackfancy Oakley dress, of which I went with a smaller size and I suspect coulda shoulda woulda gone down an additional size, I bought the largest size available in the Loveshackfancy Story dress. So maybe I will do more yoga and run a little harder, faster, longer.
