I told you that I loved this dress two weeks ago. An encore in navy blue should not be a surprise.
the krewe monroe sunglasses
Krewe landed on my radar circa 2014, back when when the eyewear was known as Krewe du Optic. Back then, the mini and Matrix eyewear trends were still three years away and oversized frames ruled. Since then, I rejected the tiny frame trend and remained die hard for huge eyewear. Much better to hide the working mom eye bags.
There was a moment in time when Krewe created the most phenomenal eyewear. The Dauphine, Julia, Laveau, Octavia, and in the case of this outfit, the Monroe, are ultimate eyewear for completing any outfit. I selected the oyster colorway in the Monroe as part of my Spring Capsule Wardrobe as they go with everything. The hardware at the temples is 24 karat gold, but as long as I am wearing either my two toned Cartier watch or my two toned David Yurman cuffs, I don’t pay mine whether I am clashing metallic shades.
the bea bongiasca earrings and ring
Bea Bongiasca is a relatively recent brand discovery. Based out of Milan, she has been designing jewelry from semi precious stones and enamel since graduating with a degree in jewelry design from Central Saint Martins circa 2013.
I collected this earring + ring set in pink, purple, and most recently, teal. I am always looking for new colors but as Bea Bongiasca is on the pricey (and worth it!) side, I only shop the brand when it is on sale or markdown.
