the brøgger emery dress
I bought this dress after stumbling upon it on Shopbop. I was looking for neon items to wear once it was safe to venture outside of the home and discovered Brøgger. I just had to have the bright yellow high-low hem dress made of two layers of semitransluscent ripstop nylon, which makes an opaque combination. When I wear it, my husband refers to me at Gorp-core mom.
The Brøgger Emery dress initially took a few voyages while we were on vacation in DC and while we were living in Astana. Recently I wore it out to bring the Pamper Pirate to French class and then to our new house to examine the paint swatches in afternoon light. Over the course of four hours, I received numerous – okay, only three – compliments on not only the dress but the entire get-up…
the roller rabbit x lele sadoughi headband
…Which brings me to my headband. I somehow missed the initial release of the Roller Rabbit x Lele Sadoughi collaboration. However, this was actually a good thing, as I found the headbands while they were on deep markdown with an additional percentage off for the Roller Rabbit Memorial Day sale.
While I was getting dressed for the day, my husband suggested that the headband would be too much and suggested that I leave it at home. I considered his suggestion and discarded the advise. I then proceeded to share his words of advise with everyone who had nice things to say about my headband / dress combo.
