Admittedly gingham is not my favorite pattern nor even not even just for summer. However, I recognize that unlike the ikat of 2012 or chevron of 2014 (shudder!), gingham is classic. Like its winter counterpart tartan, mini-checkered print can stay in your closet for years on end and never feel dated.
