Introducing an autopilot outfit…
the rowing blazers x Target sweatshirt
Who else read the huge news that Burch Creative Capital took a majority stake in one of my favorite brands, Rowing Blazers? We should have seen it coming that post-wildly successful collaboration with Target. Big congratulations to the Rowing Blazers team, and especially to founder, visionary, genius madman, and Ph.D. holder in archaeology, Jack Carlson.
Naturally I indulged in the collection with the big box retail on behalf of my sons and to a lesser extent, myself. (The collaboration was so on brand for me that my sons were also gifted pieces from the collection from more than one family friend.) My Rowing Blazers x Target sweatshirt has been on a weekly rotation, even throughout my pregnancy, since I ordered it last fall. It washes and dries beautifully, so much so that I regret not indulging myself more in the collection.
the lululemon leggings
I was thrilled to discover that Lululemon offers the Align high rise leggings with a 31 inch inseam. What was originally a staple from my first and second pregnancies has become a staple in my non-maternity wardrobe as well. Rather than a plethora of seasonal shades as well as basic ones, the 31 inch inseam leggings are available in navy blue, black, olive, and gray. On top of that, the colors are frequently sold out, but perhaps that is a good thing! Perhaps those who handle inventory will communicate how popular the longer leggings are and eventually new colors will be available.
Or maybe that is wishful thinking.
