We ate Japanese on the Fourth of July. Your point?
I purchased these J.Crew Slouchy Boyfriend denim after waiting for them to go on promotion for weeks. With the exception of the J.Crew demi bootcut cropped denim, I am not one to gravitate to jeans. This style has me rethinking that position, so much so that I bought the white version after catching them on sale last week.
This pair does not have stretch in it and… I like that! The length is intentionally cropped. The rise is higher, all the better to hold in my postnatal stomach. For reference, I am wearing the size 32 tall.
We ate at Лапша (pronounced like “Lapsha”) Tokyo for dinner. Until that night, neither my husband nor I knew that this outpost of the Лапша brand was in our neighborhood. We happened to turn a corner and noticed that this restaurant had a small, secluded patio seating in the front. Though we would have preferred dining indoors as the temperature was in the 90s, our priority is always the Pamper Pirate’s health and safety.
We ordered California rolls, beef bao buns, vegetable dumplings, chicken dumplings, vegetable spring rolls, and my husband had a bowl of spicy duck ramen. The Pamper Pirate is still not taking many solids and the children’s menu looked too advanced, but he took a liking to the whipped peas served as dipping sauces and bubble water.
