We are spending the 2021 holiday season as homebodies again. The pandemic effect is still very real where we are living. With the littlest member of our family ineligible for vaccine, we are keeping everyone safe by laying low. While I am still resistant to go all out with dressing, I am easing back into real life with clothing sans elastic waistbands. My 2021 holiday outfit is based around my favorite Sarah Flint Natalie flats.
the Sarah Flint flats
I have three four five pairs of Sarah Flint Natalie flats and offer the following intel on the sizing. For velvet and jacquard versions, go up a whole size. For suede and leather versions, go up a half size; I came to the realization too late. I have since bought the size I should have in the first place. Womp womp.

the J.Crew denim
I purchased these J.Crew Slouchy Boyfriend denim after waiting for them to go on promotion for weeks. With the exception of the J.Crew demi bootcut cropped denim, I am not one to gravitate to jeans. This style has me rethinking that position, so much so that I bought this was the second wash I purchased after falling in love with the blue destructed pair.
This pair does not have stretch in it and… I like that! The length is intentionally cropped. The rise is higher, all the better to hold in my postnatal stomach. For reference, I am wearing the size 32 tall.
