There was a point in time when Gap annually released crewneck, v-neck, cardigan, and turtleneck cashmere sweaters. Gap upped the ante when cashmere size ranges extended to that of tall. Oh, I went all in on the tall cashmere. I wore my gray cashmere hoodie (from the collection that went along with the Audrey Hepburn campaign) on constant rotation until the elbows wore holes, circa 2006 to 2014.
The collection that this citrus hued crewneck cashmere sweater was a part of was the last time the retailer offered cashmere in tall. Furthermore, Gap does not seem to offer cashmere at all anymore, in any size! In lieu of cashmere, it seems that a new “CashSoft” line is of which sweaters are not composed. CashSoft is made of a blend of cotton (majority at around 50%), nylon, and acrylic.
No thanks, you know how I feel about synthetic fibers. I will be waiting for the reintroduction of cashmere and in a tall size range.
On this particular sweater, I love the citrus color and the gray tipping at the wrists. I do not love the cropped body length, alas that is the style of the past few seasons. I am wearing this sweater in a size large tall; the tall size range compensates for the cropped nature of the sweater.

I am so excited that my feet have returned to their pre-second pregnancy size! I can now wear all of my non-sneaker shoes again. After sorting out that the brand runs small when purchasing my and my husband’s first pair, I came to the conclusion that I need to wear a size 11. Now that I nailed down my size, I can rest assure that the break in time for the loafers is nil.
