Two Awning Stripes

I just love a bright punchy green and white stripe. Give me awning, give me bungalow! There is something about the combination that looks so clean and so fresh. I find that while I have been drawn to a green and white stripe for the past year, each style I acquired has been different enough to warrant procuring it. However, what struck me about these shirts, is that in addition to the green and white stripe, they each have dark very thin stripes in the same pattern.

While one of the below shirts hit the brand’s sample sale, the more accessibly priced brand released a nearly identical version and a pair of matching shorts. Moreover, the set was issued in several striped color ways. While the premium version is available in XS to XL, the more accessible version is available in standard (from XXS to XXL), petite (from XS to L), and tall (from S to XL) size ranges

From the product photos, the length of the body looks longer on the version that is available as a set; it also has a more exaggerated shirttail hem. Much of the volume of both styles of the shirt looks as though it comes from the back vent at the center of the shoulder yoke.

The more expensive shirt is made of 98 percent cotton and two percent elastane, while the other one is one hundred percent organic cotton.

The sample sale price of the more expensive version is 110 dollars, marked down from 275 dollars. The cheaper version is seventy dollars but it is seemingly always on promotion.
