Ever since I claimed Lilly Pulitzer was moving through a renaissance, I have been watching the clock for some of my favorite items to hit sale. Nay, they did not hit that random Summer Sale at the end of June. Get ready because this winter’s Lilly Pulitzer sale starts Monday, January 5th, tomorrow, at 8 am-ish and runs until the end of Wednesday, the 7th.
Who else remembers when women used to crash out over the semi annual sale. Dresses disappeared from shopping bags, Elsa blouses were unceremoniously ripped from wardrobes. It was the worst of times.
These days, the brand and consequently, the sale, is not as big of a deal as it once was about a decade ago; however Lilly Pulitzer is going through what I would call a renaissance right now. Along with the new logo, the brand is offering Men’s Stuff, a Reserve Collection, and reissuing vintage prints and if the 2026 show is any indication, vintage shapes. Gone is the total deluge of styles made of stretchy polyblend silky-but-not-silk, though make no mistake, that genre are still stocked. Blame the athleisure movement, amirite? Rather than the surplus of this fabric, the brand has returned to beautiful cotton poplin with a hint of stretch, which I will allow for comfort’s sake.

But is it wrong to be looking forward to this sale being over for the onmichannel to make room for the and spring 2026 vintage-inspired styles?
