Two Pairs of Flats

Choose your fighter: brightly hued satin (and leather and calf hair) ballet flat edition.

Both of the shoes have a 6 mm-ish heel, a square toe, and the more modern higher profile vamp that has been dominating footwear trends as of late. I remain a sceptic and will be defaulting to a more classic ballet flat style.

$315 versus $148

The more expensive version is more than double in price that of the more economical version. Furthermore, the more economical version tends to go on promotion, dipping in the one hundred dollar range.

  • Many of the colorways across the two brands are similar, if not near-identical.
  • The more expensive version is handmade in Spain, while the less expensive version is “imported.”
  • The more expensive version is available in narrow, standard, and wide widths, and whole and half sizes 3.5 through 14 through the less common sizes are sold out. The less expensive version is available in a standard width and whole and half sizes 5 through 12.

satin vs. satin / leather vs. leather / calf hair vs. calf hair etc.

Each of the styles are available in multiple colorways and fabrications but the common threads are the chartreuse satin, poppy red satin, cow print calf hair, and black leather.
