Tall Tuesday: Trou

Raise your hand if you have issues finding long enough dress pants… ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿฟโ€โ™€๏ธ

I see we are all in good company here.

While sourcing long enough denim is an issue, it is a topic that has been covered from nearly every angle by the blogosphere. Speaking for myself. Flare denim? Skinny denim? Running long length denim roundup? Cropped demi bootcut denim? You know that is my favorite style. Something about Carolyn Bessette Kennedy (RIP) introducing me to the trend via a People magazine article when I was a teenager.

Yeah, I covered 2020 to 2021 denim. Onto something more challenging!

Quality tall trousers are tough to find. Not only are many of the brands that us tall ladies have come to rely upon (ahem, J.Crew, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor) no longer producing the 36 and 37 inch inseams that we need in order to sport along with our chicest heels, but many of these retailers are resorting to synthetic fabrics masquerading as โ€œfour season stretchโ€ and โ€œcrepe.โ€

I took to searching some high end department store offerings for tall length trousers. Word of warning: these prices are not for the faint of heart. Nevertheless, these styles sell out!

That said, who is down for a letter writing campaign to the aforementioned retailers who have let us down?
